So far Cuba (woman's volley ball team) has won over Australia. Cuba started out sought of sloppy, disoriented, so to speak. But slowly, as the play went on, they began to come together more and more, as a team. This proved to be very good, as time after time, the Cuban team scored points over Australia. Next, Woman's Saber Fencing.Ward (USA) started fencing at the age of nine. Zagunis USA, at the age of eight. Zagunis beats 18 year old, Rebbecca Ward. Just watching their form, and attact technique, shows how much practice goes into this sport of Fencing. Such grace. Now Ward challenges 23 year old Velikaya (Russia)18 year old RE BECCA WARD IS THE BRONZE MEDALIST. Y-E-S!

As the Olympic Flame was carried through Paris, tibetan protestors gathered in different locations. Here at the "parvis de l'Hôtel de Ville" in front of the town hall.A lot of Tibetans and pro-Tibetans were there, and a lot of Chinese people too.The Chinese carried a lot of flags (of China and of the Pekin Olympic Games), which they had the right to. The Tibetans, on the contrary, weren't allowed to carry any flag, the tibetan one or the poster from RSF showing the Olympic Symbol made with handcuffs. Every time they could, the policemen did confiscate those flags.Tension was high, and a lot of incidents and fights happened. The police had to separate the two groups (what they never quite achieved). They left the Chinese waving their flags next to the street where the flame was supposed to pass along, and pushed the Tibetans away, on the other end of the square, where they kept a few of them surrounded all the time, sitting on the ground, "for their own safety".The flame was supposed to stop at the town house for half an hour. It didn't happen. They kept it inside a bus, which drove by without stopping.
